UFC Fight Night: Cowboy vs. Medeiros took place Feb. 18 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. UFC heavyweight contender Derrick Lewis (195, 1 NC) took on Polish up-and-comer Marcin Tybura (164) in the nights co-main event, which aired live on pay-per-view. Catch the video highlights below.

Round 1: Dan Miragliotta the third man in the cage for this heavyweight fight. Lewis throws a lunging right hand that partially connects. Its enough to cause Tybura to fall back and Lewis is on top, quickly getting into half guard. Tybura counters with a leg lock as Lewis tries to stand, but Lewis just sits on him and punches him in the ribs. Lewis getting the better of a scramble and hes in side back control. Tybura stands, Lewis tries to hold on and ends up tripping and falling onto his back. Tybura pounces and advances into full mount. Lewis holding onto his head. Lewis gives up his back and he shakes Tybura off. Straight right floors Tybura. Lewis on top with heavy ground and pound, he is doing damage from inside Tyburas half guard. Tybura survives and works to tie Lewis up. Now its Tybura sweeping and reversing the position so that hes back on top in Lewiss half guard. Wild three-and-a-half minutes so far. Tybura content to stay on top and hold position, though hes scoring with the occasional short elbow and hammer fist. He advances to mount and Lewis gives up his back. Keylock attempt by Tybura but he runs out of time.

Round 2: Tybura backing Lewis up with leg kicks and a kick to the body, he goes up high and Lewis dodges it. Straight right from Lewis connects again. Another one and then he slings four consecutive punches that Tybura weathers before scoring with a takedown. Tybura in side control. Lewis tries to turn into Tybura, but Tybura takes his back again. Hes high on it and Lewis is working to remove the hooks. Lewis cant shake Tybura off and they fall back to the mat with Tybura briefly in mount. Lewis gives up his back. They collapse to the mat together and Lewis tries to just roll away, but Tybura gets back on top and finds mount position once more. Tybura with short elbows and punches as Lewis works to tie him up. Tybura ends the round on top.

MMA Fighting scores the round 10-9, Tybura. Overall 19-19.

Round 3: Tybura takes the center of the Octagon, Lewis slowly circling. High kick from Lewis misses. Tybura throws one of his own that glances the top of Lewiss head. Low kick by Tybura. Lewis throws the right and lands it again, but does not over-pursue this time. Tybura uses a punch to advance and clinch up with Lewis against the cage. Theyre battling for underhooks. Knees to the thigh by Tybura. Tybura switches to a single leg, no go. Tybura manages to switch positions. He explodes and catches Lewis with a right hook. A left hook, then another right hook land cleanly. Tybura is hurt! Straight right on the chin and Tybura goes down. Lewis with several unanswered follow-up punches and Miragliotta has to step in and wave off the fight.
