Tegan Nox made a surprise return on
Smackdown last night, coming to the aid
of Liv Morgan who was being attacked by
the Damage CTRL trio of Bayley, Dakota
Kai, and IYO SKY.
The Welsh star was released from WWE in
November of last year just months after
being called up to the main roster.
Nox’s career in WWE was filled with
long-term injuries that kept her mostly
out of the ring. She was originally set
to be part of the Mae Young Classic in
2017 but tore her ACL. She participated
in the 2018 edition but also tore her
ACL in the other knee during the
tournament. Two years later she suffered
a third serious knee injury and was out
for another year before she returned
later in 2021.
She becomes the 17th Superstar released
by the Vince McMahon regime to be
brought back under Triple H since July.
