In the immortal words of Nick Diaz, Muhammad Mokaev and Manel Kape sold us all wolf tickets.

After a drama-filled build-up between the two flyweight contenders, which included multiple brawls or near-brawls outside of the cage, Mokaev and Kape declined to keep that same energy once UFC 304 began. In the end, Mokaev won a listless and anticlimactic decision over Kape after 15 minutes of light action, though the difference between the pair’s fight week bluster and the tone they set in the cage was inescapable for the MMA masses watching from home.
