Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson likely broke viewership records for Netflix, but that doesn’t mean everyone was satisfied with the experience.

The heavily promoted boxing match, which took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas was free for the over 280 million members currently subscribed to Netflix. However, throughout the evening, there were legions of complaints on social media regarding the streaming service buffering, the quality of the video dropping, and problems with the audio.

For those able to watch the main event, they saw Paul win a listless unanimous decision over a 58-year-old Tyson. It was a result befitting the broadcast’s technical issues as it undoubtedly left the majority of viewers unsatisfied.

Regarding the streaming hiccups, UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad wrote after the event, “Wow my Netflix just unfroze.”

He wasn’t the only viewer to share their disappointment on social media, with one fan writing, “One of the worst fights/events in history. Netflix should be ashamed.”
