One judge at UFC 305 left the whole MMA world scratching its head.
Judge Howie Booth was perhaps the only person in the sport who didn’t see Jairzinho Rozenstruik dominate Tai Tuivasa in Saturday’s battle of heavyweight contenders. Rozenstruik outclassed Tuivasa from pillar to post at UFC 305 yet somehow only won a split decision because of a baffling 30-27 Tuivasa scorecard turned in by Booth.
Afterward, it was revealed on the UFC 305 broadcast that Booth has been removed from his duties to judge the night’s co-main event between Kai Kara-France and Steve Erceg.
