12 fastest knockouts in UFC history

post-img

There have been more than 8,000 fights in UFC history.

A large reason fans around the world tuned in for each of those was with the hope of seeing a spectacular knockout.

Three-plus decades after the UFC held its first event in November 1993, only a dozen knockouts have taken place in 10 seconds or less.

With some help of the record-keeping of MMA database Tapology, relive the fastest knockouts in UFC history in the list below.

Note: The list below includes the records, as recorded by the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC). While the UFC changed its internal records to reflect Duane Ludwig as having a six-second knockout, the official record still is listed as 11 seconds. You can check out Ludwig’s incredible knockout of Jonathan Goulet from UFC Fight Night 3 (Jan. 16, 2006) here.
