The ongoing feud between UFC lightweight contenders Dan Hooker and Paddy Pimblett is becoming one of the most personal beefs in the sport.

Just days away from the biggest fight of his career at UFC 324, UFC lightweight star Paddy Pimblett is ramping up a feud with another top contender not named Justin Gaethje.

Pimblett, who will face Gaethje for the interim lightweight title on Saturday night at UFC 324, has been in a recent war of words with lightweight stalwart Dan Hooker. After Pimblett threw a vulgar attack aimed at Hooker’s perceived lack of grappling, Hooker invoked one of Pimblett’s late friends who died by suicide in online trash talk.

Fight fans of both Pimblett and Hooker were quick to scold the latter for taking a perceived ‘low blow’ at Pimblett. Despite the blowback, Hooker isn’t backing down and insists his feud with Pimblett will eventually result in a physical altercation in or out of the cage.

In a recent interview with , Hooker defended his recent personal attack on Pimblett and expressed zero remorse for his words.

“F— around and find out, brother,” Hooker said.

“You want to take it there? He tried to get a reaction, and he f—– got one. You go low, I go lower. You want to say some horrible s— like that, I’m going to think of the most horrible s— I can possibly [think of] and I’m going to bring that up too.

“He genuinely pissed me off, genuinely got under my skin,” Hooker continued on Pimblett. “Wanted to piss me off; he pissed me off. I wanted to say something so the feeling is mutual. I’ll want to kick your head the next time I see you, and now you want to kick my head back. I have no intention of making it up. There’s no coming back from that.”

Hooker will face Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 325, just days after Pimblett’s upcoming fight at UFC 324. After their upcoming fights, don’t be surprised if the two sides are booked for a future clash inside the Octagon.
