Dana White has no idea why Khabib Nurmagomedov was flying on Frontier Airlines, but he doesn’t have much nice to say about his former lightweight champion getting kicked off a flight recently.

A viral video surfaced days ago showing Nurmagomedov arguing with a flight attendant over him sitting in an exit row seat where passengers are required to assist other passengers in case of an emergency. Despite responding several times that he was willing and able as well as his ability to speak English, Nurmagomedov was asked to move seats or leave the plane and he eventually got off the flight.

“What the f*ck is he doing on Frontier Airlines anyway?” the UFC CEO said about the incident on Pardon My Take. “This kid’s got more money than anybody but that’s how humble he is. He’s flying on that piece of shit airline.

“I don’t know what you have to do to get kicked off Frontier Airlines. Listen, Khabib doesn’t fight anymore because he’s got shitloads of money. I’ve got to teach Khabib how to charter a plane, especially if you’re just going from Vegas to San Francisco.”

The dispute over Nurmagomedov being removed from the flight led to the Council on American-Islamic Relations issuing a statement asking for a full investigation into the situation questioning “whether religious or racial profiling played a role in his treatment.”

Frontier Airlines then issued a statement addressing the altercation and said that the video only showed part of a later interaction between Nurmagomedov and a gate agent who came on board after a flight attendant had already spoken to him about leaving the exit row.

“As a result of the customer’s initial unresponsiveness and repeated declinations of a seat change, he was asked to deplane per airline and FAA policy,” Frontier Airlines said in the statement. “The decision to deplane the customer was in no way related to his ethnicity and we have refunded him and his traveling companions for their flights.”

White still doesn’t understand how Nurmagomedov was mistreated so badly, especially given the responsibilities bestowed upon passengers sitting in those exit row seats.

“That’s how dumb they are on Frontier Airlines,” White said. “If there’s anybody you want in that position, it’s Khabib Nurmagomedov. Good job, Frontier Airlines.”

As far as Nurmagomedov flying on Frontier Airlines and sitting in a coach seat in the exit row, White promises that the retired lightweight champion could definitely afford to upgrade.

“Not only did Dana pay him, after he won the Conor McGregor fight, he went on like the Muslim world tour and Saudi Arabia rained on him, Abu Dhabi rained on him, Qatar rained on him,” White revealed. “[Vladimir] Putin rained on him.

“Khabib shouldn’t even know what the f*ck Frontier Airlines is just like most people don’t. He’s got plenty of money.”
