Meltzer continued to share his frustration with the way AEW handled the ending of the segment, explaining they should at least highlight the moment more often going forward due to the way Omega and Ospreay put their bodies on the line.
"It's the pattern of good things on AEW television that don't have impact because they aren't followed up on. If someone is taking a risk that big, at least emphasize the hell out of it for weeks and replay it to death."
ECW legend Tommy Dreamer recently commented on AEW's production tactics as well, explaining that they should take a page out of WWE's playbook. He outlined how Vince McMahon never assumed the audience watched what happened on the show the week prior, and constantly reminded them of what they missed. That ultimately insures that the viewer remembers what happened, and may feel inclined to not want to miss it again.
