Following his loss, Eric Young revealed he still couldn't get a straight answer, even from "the person in charge" which largely seemed to imply he spoke to Vince McMahon.

"We all know who that is, not allowed to say the name ... [He] just kinda didn't like it, kinda didn't get it, although it was his choice to bring us up in the first place," he said.

Young went on to further claim he confronted this person, and that they had a good conversation where they ended up bouncing ideas off of each other.

"He was very complimentary, 'Thank you for bringing this in, thank you for showing initiative.' And then they sent Damo and Wolff back to 'NXT,' and I got sent over to 'Raw' and it got worse," he recalled. "I mean, I didn't do anything. I didn't make him mad, I didn't have a bad match, I didn't –- there's nothing I did, he just decided that I wasn't no good at whatever it was that I was doing."

The veteran explained that he's since moved on from the disappointing experience, and wasn't surprised by his release. He added former TNA Wrestling President Scott D'Amore contacted him just after his release, to negotiate his return to TNA.
