Another Legendary Timmy Takedown!
Wheelchairs are thrown to the side, walkers forgotten, and
abilities highlighted as each wrestler steals the spotlight
in an event that often brings laughs, tears, and a whole lot
of fun. The 23rd annual Timmy Takedown was a free, annual
event on Saturday, October 5th in Kirklin, Indiana. Cheer
local kids on as they show their abilities in the ring and
raise funds for the families and communities that Timmy
Global Health supports around the world.
We had a fantastic time at the 23rd Timmy Takedown event!
Eight returning wrestlers and one new competitor brought a
wave of excitement as they once again triumphed over Dr.
Doom and his notorious "Evil" tag team. It was a memorable
day, filled with laughter and cheers on a beautiful fall
afternoon!
We are so grateful to this year's Timmy Takedown sponsors,
donors, volunteers wrestlers, and attendees for making this
event so special, and for helping us surpass our goal. With
the funds raised, we can do so much, including helping more
kids overcome malnutrition and "graduate" to a healthier
future. Together, the nutrition programs led by our partners
Tierra Nueva in Ecuador, and 32 Volcanes in Guatemala have
helped 30 children overcome chronic malnutrition so far this
