MEXICO CITY – Jesus Aguilar beat Mateus Mendonca with a split decision Saturday on the preliminary card at UFC Fight Night 237 at Mexico City Arena.

Of course, it was a controversial fight, but at the end, I talked with my corner and my corner will tell me, ‘Hey, look up. You did great.’ I’m going to be back more prepared and I promise to Mexico to be better.”
