Magomed Ankalaev issued a stern warning towards UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.

Ankalaev (20-1-1 MMA, 11-1-1 UFC) challenges Pereira (12-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) in the UFC 313 main event March 8 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPNews, ESPN+).

Ankalaev had to heavily campaign to finally get his shot at Pereira, and is eager to make him pay. Ankalaev mocked Pereira for traveling to Sydney this past week to corner Sean Strickland at UFC 312.

@AlexPereiraUFC this guy keep traveling and he forget he will be fighting for his life March 8 He will never be the same after this fight @danawhite mark my word.”

“I never wanna hurt someone in my life like I want hurt Alex He is a fake humble boy.”

“I’ve been climbing mountain chopping, wood, swimming, in freezing lake and Alex been dancing and making video like TikTok chick.”

Ankalaev insists on his game plan of standing and trading with “Poatan,” who has knocked out his past four opponents.

“Don’t forget, I will make a copy of this.”
