MCW Pro Wrestling presented Seasons Beatings on Friday,
December 27, at the R.J. Meyer Arena in Joppa, MD. There
were multiple title changes and multiple betrayals as allies
and friends turned on each other. The results are below.
Alex Divine retained the MCW Rage TV Championship in a Six-
Pack Challenge Match against Tony Macko, Jadis Quinn, Chris
Slade, Chuck Lennox, and Alec Odin.
Spencer Slade defeated Tim Spriggs in a singles match.
During the match, MCW General Manager Phil Stamper came to
ringside to eject Cassius Cash Carter to prevent his further
interference. As they approached the ramp going to the back,
Carter took a swing, which Stamper blocked and then floored
Carter with a punch of his own.
The Zukkos defeated The Hype to win the MCW Tag Team
Championship. After the match, Amara Voyd turned on her
team, and the lights went out and a video played. Clay
Jacobs and AK Baine came out of the crowd and attacked The
Hype and The Zukkos.
Gia Scott retained the MCW Women’s Championship against
Nahir Robles.
The Mecca defeated Miami Mike Walker in a 10 Lashes Match.
During the match, Hellfire McGuire came to the ring and was
brutally beaten by The Mecca. He later came back to the ring
with his ribs taped and ended up doing more harm than good
for Miami Mike. Following the match, Mike offered to take
the lashes for the injured McGuire, who then turned on him
and finished the lashes on Walker himself. Hellfire McGuire
then shook hands with The Mecca.
After intermission, Myles Hawkins defeated Samuray Del Sol
in a singles match. Hawkins refused to shake hands after the
match.
Ken Dixon defeated Patrick Clark in a grudge match. Clark
got into a shoving match with MCW Senior Referee Mike Kehner
at one point during the match, and Kehner ended up pushing
him to the mat.
All Natural defeated Fenix Fury and Nikita in a tag team
match. After the match, James Ellsworth turned on his own
valet and superkicked Simone Valentina.
In the main event, Joe Keys defeated Kaun and Demarcus Kane
in a Triple Threat Match to become the new MCW Heavyweight
Champion. The Hustlers interfered from the beginning, and
later on, Kaun's former tag team partner Moses came to the
ring to even the odds. At one point, Joe Keys was on the top
rope and had a chair thrown back at him, causing him to
topple through the announce table, destroying it and sending
everyone there to the floor, including ring announcer Danny
Mays. At another point, Black Wallstreet's music played, and
Chuck Lennox came out of the back, prompting the Hustlers to
run toward him on the ramp while Gia Scott made her entrance
in the ring from the other side to attack Keys. Chaos
erupted in and around the ring as the fighting continued,
with MCW security running to try to restore order.
Ultimately, when it looked like Demarcus Kane was going to
win, an MCW security guy came forward, removed a surgical
mask, and spit water in Kane's face, allowing Keys to get
the win. The unmasked man was revealed to be Dante
Caballero, Keys' former tag team partner, who had gone on
hiatus due to a knee injury in 2023.
This sets up upcoming storylines involving the Zukkos and
Jacobs, Baine, and Voyd as well as a program involving Joe
Keys and Demarcus Kane. Also, the way Hellfire McGuire and
Miami Mike move forward will be interesting.
Overall, this was an exciting show. There were some things I
don't usually like, including the chaotic ending to the main
event, but in the context of the rest of the show, it made
sense.
Miami Mike vs. Mecca was my match of the night, even aside
from the Hellfire McGuire angle.
