Israel Adesanya is uncharted territory in his combat sports career after he left the UFC Fight Night 250 main event vs. Nassourdine Imavov with a third consecutive loss on his resume.
Adesanya (24-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) was dropped and stopped by Imavov (16-4 MMA, 8-2 UFC) for a second-round knockout in the middleweight headliner at ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is now 1-4 in his past five bouts.
Although Adesanya is exclusively facing the highest level of competition, the position begs natural questions around the soon-to-be 36-year-old and what the future holds now that he’s in an unprecedented spot.
