Benoit Saint Denis has experienced a sudden change in fortune following his loss to Renato Moicano in the UFC Fight Night 243 main event.
After winning five consecutive fights in the lightweight division, Saint Denis (13-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) has now been stopped in consecutive bouts following a second-round doctor’s stoppage TKO defeat to Moicano (20-6-1 MMA, 12-5 UFC) in the headlining act at Accor Arena in Paris.
Saint Denis is still only 27, but will be forced to go back to the drawing table and figure out what he needs to do to reach the next level.
