UFC 305 weigh-in results: Dricus du Plessis, Israel Adesanya on point for headliner; 1 fighter misses

The heated UFC middleweight title fight is officially a go.

Champion Dricus du Plessis and challenger — and former two-time champ — Israel Adesanya were both on weight for the main event of UFC 305, which takes place Saturday night at RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia. Du Plessis weighed in at 185 pounds , while Adesanya —who was the first fighter in — tipped the scales at 184 for his first fight in nearly a year.

For the pivotal flyweight co-main event, recent title challenger and hometown favorite Steve Erceg made weight at 125.5 pounds, while opponent Kai Kara-France is also good to go for his first fight in 14 months, weighing in at 125 pounds.

23 of the 24 fighters on Saturday’s card made weight. The lone miss came from Jesus Aguilar, who missed weight by 1.5 pounds coming in at 127.5. His opponent Stewart Nicoll weighed 126 for his octagon debut. The bout will go forward as scheduled, with Aguilar getting penalized 20 percent of his purse.
