Valentina Shevchenko evened the score with Alexa Grasso on Saturday when she regained the women’s flyweight title in the UFC 306 co-main event.
Shevchenko (24-4-1 MMA, 13-3-1 UFC) made the record 1-1-1 in head-to-head matchups with Grasso (16-4-1 MMA, 8-4-1 UFC) with a lopsided unanimous decision victory in the co-main event of the historic card at Sphere in Las Vegas.
The matchups between Shevchenko and Grasso marked the first women’s trilogy in UFC history, and remains to be seen if a historic fourth meeting comes down the line as a result.
