In eight UFC appearances, Landwehr (18-5) has established himself as one of the most exciting fighters in the entire promotion, with his performances delivering thrills whether he wins or loses. He’s currently in a fine stretch of form, having defeated Jamall Emmers this past March by first-round knockout to score his fourth win in his past five outings. A matchup with Choi seems destined to end in Fight of the Night bonus for both men.
Choi (15-4-1) currently holds a spot in the UFC Hall of Fame as one half of his epic battle with Cub Swanson. “The Korean Superboy” scored his first win in eight years when he stopped Bill Algeo in the second round this past July. Once one of the most promising prospects at 145 pounds, Choi looks to show that he has plenty left to offer when he steps into the cage with Landwehr.
