LAS VEGAS – Those familiar with Dooho Choi and Nate Landwehr didn’t expect a 15-minute fight Saturday at UFC 310 – and they did not get one.
In the UFC 310 main card opener, Choi (16-4-1 MMA, 5-3-1 UFC) defeated Landwehr (18-6 MMA, 5-4 UFC) by ground-and-pound. The stoppage at T-Mobile Arena came at 3:21 of Round 3.

Choi came out throwing heat, and connected with big strikes, including a punch that dropped Landwehr approximately 30 seconds in. As the fight progressed, the difference in striking success narrowed. Choi then resorted to his wrestling as he slickly tossed Landwehr to the canvas on multiple occasions.
Eventually, he moved to crucifix and slowly pounded away. With Landwehr unable to escape, referee Chris Tognoni waved off the fight.
With the win, Choi has won two fights in a row. Landwehr falls to 1-2 in his most recent three.
