After a 6-0 start to his UFC career, Almeida (21-3) ran into trouble when he was defeated by Curtis Blaydes at UFC 299. He rebounded with a dominant first-round submission of Alexander Romanov and heads into 2025 in the mix for a heavyweight title shot. Almeida has scored 20 of his 21 career victories by knockout or submission.

Don’t expect this one to go to the scorecards as Spivac (17-4) is also known for his finishing ability. He owns seven wins by knockout and eight by submission and hasn’t gone the distance in over three years. He is coming off of a first-round submission of Marcin Tybura this past August, a win that cemented his spot as a top-10 heavyweight in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings.
