Holland (26-12, 1 NC) is in need of a win here after dropping three of his past four fights. Two of those losses came at welterweight, in competitive bouts against Michael Page and Jack Della Maddalena, but Holland returns to the 185-pound division to kick off his 2025 campaign. “Trailblazer” always brings the excitement and now he has a chance to knock off a former two-division ONE Championship titleholder.
In his UFC debut this past November, de Ridder (18-2) made a strong first impression with a third-round submission of veteran Gerald Meerschaert. De Ridder is known for his grappling expertise, having scored 12 of his 18 wins by submission. “The Dutch Knight” could be a dark horse contender in the middleweight division with an impressive performance against Holland in his first UFC pay-per-view appearance.
