The UFC’s second numbered event of 2025 goes down Saturday with UFC 312 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

Two championship fights take center stage “Down Under,” with Dricus Du Plessis (22-2 MMA, 8-0 UFC) and Sean Strickland (29-6 MMA, 16-6 UFC) set to rematch for middleweight gold in the main event, while Zhang Weili (25-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) puts her strawweight belt up for grabs against the unbeaten Tatiana Suarez (10-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) in the co-headliner.

Crute is one of five fighters in UFC history to earn multiple submission victories by kimura. Krzysztof Soszynski, Rani Yahya, Frank Mir and George Sotiropoulos also accomplished the feat.

Crute’s victory at the 4:51 mark of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night 142 is the second latest finish in a three-round UFC light heavyweight fight behind Paul Craig’s win at 4:59 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night 127.
