UFC Fight Night 243 pre-event facts: Will Joanderson Brito continue impressive stoppage streak?

The UFC makes its return to France on Saturday with UFC Fight Night 243, which takes place at Accor Arena in Paris and streams entirely on ESPN+.

The lineup will feature two five round, non-title bouts at the top of the card. In the lightweight main event, Renato Moicano (19-6-1 MMA, 11-5 UFC) takes on Benoit Saint Denis (13-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC). While in the co-headliner, ranked middleweights Brendan Allen (24-5 MMA, 12-2 UFC) and Nassourdine Imavov (14-4 MMA, 6-2 UFC) are teed up for battle.

Brito has earned 15 of his 16 career victories by stoppage. That includes all five of his UFC wins.

Brito’s average fight time of 6:21 in UFC lightweight competition is the shortest among active fighters in the weight class.

Brito’s five-fight UFC stoppage streak is the second-longest streak among active fighters in the company behind Shavkat Rakhmonov (six).

Klein is one of four fighters in UFC history to earn a knockout stemming from a front kick to the body. Alexander Volkov, Dan Hooker and Siyar Bahadurzada also accomplished the feat.

Roosevelt Roberts’ (12-4 MMA, 4-4 UFC) four-fight UFC winless skid is the longest of his career. He hasn’t earned a victory since May 2020.

Darya Zheleznyakova vs. Ailin Perez

Ailin Perez (10-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) has earned all three of her UFC victories by decision.

Perez landed 10 takedowns in her victory at UFC on ESPN 49, the single-fight record for a UFC women’s bantamweight fight.
