Xiaocan Feng vs. Ming Shi
Recap: Ming Shi pulled off a big betting upset when she knocked out 6-1 favorite Xiaocan Feng with a brutal head kick 46 seconds into the third round. Shi connected her shin right onto Feng’s jaw, then hit. her with a few punches on the canvas before the ref jumped in. The win gave her the “Road to UFC” women’s strawweight tournament crown – and also sent Feng out of the arena on a stretcher and to the hospital for precautionary reasons after the finish, which left her unconscious and convulsing on the canvas.
