Nate Diaz loves to throw beverages.
Friday was a busy day for the UFC as the promotion held its first press conference for the upcoming UFC 311 event in January and then ceremonial weigh-ins for UFC 310, which takes place this Saturday in Las Vegas. As a friend and training partner of Kron Gracie, who competes at UFC 310, Diaz was in attendance for the weigh-ins, where he had yet another backstage altercation.
After the UFC 311 press conference was over, Diaz ran into Islam Makhachev, Umar Nurmagomedov, and their team while he was waiting for the UFC 310 ceremonial weigh-ins to start, and while we don’t know what set things off, the end result was Diaz and a member of Makhachev’s team throwing water bottles at each other while security intervened.

This is not the first time Diaz has thrown a beverage at someone during a fight week event. Far from it. Back in 2016, Diaz hurled energy drink cans at Conor McGregor during their press conference for UFC 202. Several years later Diaz and his team got into an altercation ahead of the UFC 279 press conference where water bottles were hurled back and forth, forcing the promotion to cancel the presser. And just last year, Diaz set off another altercation when he threw a water bottle at reality TV star Chase DeMoor at a Misfits Boxing event.
