Jesse Venture joins commentary and tells the crew that his snakeskin jacket is made from Jake "The Snake" Roberts's snake Damien. Cody makes his entrance in the classic Winged Eagle WWE Championship.

Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens

The bell rings and Owens immediately retreats to ringside. Cody gibes chase smashes Owens into the apron and then into the announce table. Back in the ring, and Owens retreats again, only to be hit with a suicide dive from Rhodes. 

Back in the ring, Cody hits a Gourdbuster. They both exit the ring and Owens takes control. Owens backdrops Rhodes onto the announce table as we head to commercial.

Back from commercial and Owens hits a Swanton Bomb on Rhodes for a nearfall. Owens and Rhodes trade Dusty impressions, with Rhodes hitting a Bionic Elbow. Rhodes hits a powerslam. Rhodes hits a Disaster Kick for a nearfall. Owens dodges a Cody Cutter and heads to ringside. Rhodes gives chase and eats a Superkick. Owens gets Rhodes onto the announce table, where Rhodes recovers and hits an RKO. The table does not break. Back in the ring, Cody hits a Cody Cutter for a nearfall.

Rhodes puts Owens on the top rope. Owens fights out of a Superplex and hits an Avalanche Fisherman Buster for a nearfall. Rhodes counters a Stunner. Owens counters a Cross Rhodes. The referee gets knocked out of the ring. Owens hits a Stunner and covers for an uncounted 15 count. A ref finally comes in and counts but Cody finally kicks out.

Cody counters a Pop Up Powerbomb. Owens dodges a Disaster Kick and the referee gets knocked out. Owens sends Rhodes into the ringpost. Owens grabs a steel chair. Rhodes dodges and hits a Cody Cutter. Rhodes hits a Cross Rhodes onto the chair for the pinfall.
