AEW DYNAMITE was broadcast on TBS and streamed on MAX live
from the F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, TN!

Excalibur, Ian Riccaboni, and “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard were
the broadcast team for tonight’s event.

It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!

House of Black’s Buddy Matthews vs. “The Aerial Assassin”
Will Ospreay!

Buddy hit a shoulder tackle and Will popped right back up to
his feet. Buddy accelerated, dropped a shoulder, and rammed
Will. Ospreay attempted a cutter, but Buddy intercepted it.
Buddy ducked two round house kicks from Ospreay.

Buddy dropkicked Will in the chest. Ospreay fired back with
a plancha, taking down Buddy on the arena floor. Matthews
retaliated with a knee strike and a tight headlock back in
the ring. Ospreay and Matthews built up speed, bounced off
the ropes, and collided in the center of the ring, both
having the same idea.

Ospreay staggered Buddy with a kick to the head. Will
followed up with a springboard elbow for a near fall.
Matthews drilled Will with a back breaker. Matthews followed
up with a dive over the top rope, crashing down onto
Ospreay! Buddy followed up with a meteora for a near fall!

The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”

Matthews and Ospreay traded kicks and knees on the apron.
Buddy blocked an Os-Cutter and then threw Ospreay face first
into the announce desk! Buddy bashed Will with a charging
boot. Buddy tried again but this time Will countered with a
thrust kick of his own, followed up by an Os-Cutter off the
barricade!

The fans chanted “A-E-W! A-E-W!”

Ospreay connected with another Os-Cutter, this time in the
ring! Buddy ducked the Hidden Blade. Ospreay smacked Buddy
with a right handed chop across the chest. Buddy unleashed a
flurry of offense. Buddy blocked an Os-Cutter and then curb
stomped Ospreay, covering him for a near fall!

Ospreay flattened Buddy with the Styles Clash but Buddy
kicked out at the two-count! Will connected with the Hidden
Blade and was finally able to put away Buddy for the three-
count!

Ospreay: “Give it up for Buddy Matthews. I’ve admired you
from a far and I can tell you this for a fact. I’ve wrestled
you and Brody King, and neither of you need to follow a
leader. You can do it by yourself. I can see tag gold in
both your futures, or singles gold if you really want it. If
you ever need a man in your corner, Buddy, I’m your guy.”

It was time for Private Party’s Championship Victory
Celebration!

AEW World Tag Team Champions Zay and Quen came out of the
tunnel, surrounded by women.

Zay: “We made history being in the first tag title match
that was featured on Max and TNT. We walked into Charlotte
your Tag Team Champions and left Charlotte as your champs.
We should celebrate. How about this? How about we celebrate
our latest—”

Zay was interrupted by The Hurt Syndicate’s music!

MVP: “We want to party too. How about we raise a toast to
Private Party?”

Zay: “OK, I like that.”

MVP: “I want to propose a toast to these incredible athletes
who successfully defended these tag team championships. And
Bobby here’s to the Hurt Syndicate—”

Bobby Lashley: “Taking those tag team titles.”

The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley (with MVP & Shelton
Benjamin)
vs. Mark Briscoe!

Lashley taunted Mark Briscoe, patting him on the head. Mark
didn’t back down and chopped Bobby. Bobby fired off a
flatliner and then suplexed Briscoe. Bobby nailed Mark with
a neck breaker.

Mark served up his redneck Kungfu. Mark jumped off the top
turnbuckle, but Bobby caught him and hurled him across the
ring. Bobby bulldozed Briscoe and then suplexed him on the
arena floor!

Briscoe set up a steel chair and catapulted off it, flying
over the top rope and wiping out Lashley on the floor.
Briscoe shoved Bobby into the steel ring post. Briscoe threw
his body off the top turnbuckle and crashed onto Lashley!
Briscoe connected with a sliding lariat, followed up by the
Froggy Bow. Briscoe covered Lashley but Bobby kicked out at
the one-count!

Lashley speared Mark. Bobby choke slammed Briscoe. Bobby
applied the Hurt Lock, and the match ended via ref stoppage!
Shelton Benjamin grounded and pounded Mark after the match.
Private Party sprinted down to the ring with steel chairs,
coming to the aid of Briscoe. MVP and the Hurt Syndicate
backed off…for now.

World Title Contender’s Casino Gauntlet Match!
Participants included: “Switchblade” Jay White;
Powerhouse Hobbs;
“The Last Outlaw” Jeff Jarrett;
And?

The winner faces AEW World Champion Jon Moxley next week on
AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage.

“Switchblade” Jay White and “Hangman” Adam Page were the
first two participants.

Jay White chopped Page and Page chopped right back. Page hit
a shoulder tackle. Jay White cradled Page for a near fall.
Jay White avoided the Dead Eye. White superplexed Hangman
Page, pulling out all the stops.

The next entrant was Wheeler Yuta! Jay White bashed Yuta
with the Blade Runner right away. He went for the cover on
Wheeler, but Page broke it up. Page jumped off the
turnbuckles and delivered a clothesline to Yuta on the
apron, and then dished one out to Jay White.

Swerve Strickland’s music began to play, but it was
interrupted by Ricochet’s music. Ricochet was the next
entrant, playing mind games with Page.

Ricochet connected with a springboard elbow to Page and
followed up with a tope suicida to Jay White. Ricochet
landed a moonsault on Page for a near fall.

Adam Cole was the next entrant, baybay! Cole hit White and
Page with superkicks. Cole rocked Ricochet with a superkick
next! Cole connected with the Panama Sunrise on Ricochet for
a near fall.

TNT Champion Daniel Garcia was the next participant to come
to the ring. Garcia blasted Cole with a rolling neck
breaker. Garcia stacked up Cole, Page, and White in the
corner and pounded them with punches. Yuta slapped Garcia
and then the two men traded chops. Yuta used a cheap shot to
take down Garcia.

Out to the ring next was Powerhouse Hobbs! Hobbs hurled Yuta
with a suplex. Hobbs tossed Cole with a suplex. And then
Hobbs hit one on Jay White! Hobbs had a suplex for Page,
too! Hobbs body slammed Jay White. Hobbs charged at Jay
White, but Jay White took the low road and tripped Hobbs,
sending Hobbs face first into the turnbuckles.

Roderick Strong ran to the ring next, nailing White and Page
with back breakers. Garcia, Cole, and Roddy stomped Ricochet
in the corner. Hobbs hit Garcia and Cole with a double
clothesline. Roddy smashed Hobbs with the sick kick. Jay
White spiked Ricochet with a cutthroat suplex. Yuta hit
White with a low blow behind the ref’s back.

“The MurderHawk Monster” Lance Archer was the next
participant. Archer choke slammed Yuta on the floor and then
choke slammed Roddy onto Cole! Ricochet springboarded at
Archer but Archer caught him and discarded him. Hobbs tossed
Ricochet across the ring at Archer. Archer threw Ricochet
back at Hobbs. Hobbs power slammed Archer. Hobbs and Archer
traded forearms.

Kyle O’Reilly came to the ring next and unleashed a flurry
of offense on Yuta. O’Reilly baited in Archer and twisted
him with a dragon screw leg whip. “The Last Outlaw” Jeff
Jarrett was the next entrant. Wheeler Yuta hit Jarrett from
behind as Jeff was making his entrance! Yuta brawled with
Jarrett to the back.

Archer booted Hobbs in the face. Hobbs escaped the Black Out
attempt by Archer. Hobbs planted Kyle with a spinebuster and
pinned him!

Powerhouse Hobbs will be facing AEW World Champion Jon
Moxley next week on Dynamite: Maximum Carnage!

After the match, Renee Paquette interviewed Hobbs in the
ring.

Hobbs: “Let’s shoot for a second. Let it be told that Jon
Moxley is the one that brought me to AEW. But next week I
plan on shocking the world, I’m going to make Moxley my
bitch!”

A highlight package played hyping next week’s match on
Dynamite between HOOK and Christian Cage!

Ian Riccaboni was in the ring to interview “The Last Outlaw”
Jeff Jarrett!

Jarrett: “You know, it’s 2025 and the Last Outlaw has to ask
himself one question: do I still have what it takes to climb
that mountain?”

MJF’s music began to play and cut off Jarrett’s interview.

MJF walked to the ring and got into Jarrett’s face.

MJF: “Ian, get out of my ring. Jeffrey, I don’t think you’ve
had the distinct pleasure of meeting me. You are looking at
the greatest AEW World Champion of all time! I’m MJF! And I
want my Triple B back, but the World title scene seems like
a lot of work right now.

“No one is worthy of holding my Triple B, but I can think of
one man who might be. A man who has given his blood, sweat
and tears to this business for over 35 years, Jeff Jarrett!
My dad told me he was a big fan of yours when he was a
little kid. I know you want to be World champion, but the
clock is ticking. You know, Jeff, I’ve done some digging and
you haven’t been completely honest with these people.

“It turns out the contract you signed is only for one more
year. Was I not supposed to say that Jeff? You don’t want to
retire yet, but you had to sign that contract because that’s
all professional wrestling thinks you’ve got left to give.
I’m here to help. The way I see it, you’ve only got one year
to prove that you’ve still got it.

“One year to make sure that you can listen to these fans for
years to come and make it back to the top of the mountain. I
can help you become World champion one more time. All I ask
is one tiny little favor. When I help you procure my Triple
B, I’m first in the line for my title shot. So Jeff, want to
make a deal with little ol’ me?”

Jeff Jarrett: “You know, Max, you were the AEW World
champion, and just like you said, you had it longer than
anyone. But you’re still too young to understand that you
learn more from your failures than you do from your
successes. Do you know what we call kids like you around
here? One-hit wonders. I know the road that I’ve got to go
down. I’ve been at rock bottom. I’m comfortable at rock
bottom. Life has put me at rock bottom. But I know one
thing, that gives me the opportunity to crawl and scratch
and fight my way back to the top of the mountain.

“Tonight you had the opportunity to enter the Casino
Gauntlet Match, but you came out here to scheme. It comes
down to this. I don’t need you. Hell no, I don’t need you.
And whatever you’re selling, I ain’t buying, you entitled
prick!”

Up next: “The Rated R Superstar” Cope!

Cope: “Jon Moxley! You and your Death Riders, while I was
gone, you took out Bryan Danielson, possibly for good. You
threw Darby Allin down a flight of stairs, and we haven’t
seen him since. And you tried to go after FTR and I’m very
close friends with them, so massive mistake.

“You’ve come out here and said guys like Orange Cassidy
don’t have the grind that it takes to be World champion. No
one has fought through what I’ve fought through to be
standing in this ring, and I will die on that hill because I
am an entirely different animal. I broke my neck in a match
with Eddy Guerrero and I got up and won that match. I broke
my leg in a match with Malakai Black and I got up, wrestled
ten more minutes and won that match.

“So Moxley, as much as I know you’re one of the toughest
bastards in the ring, what can you do to me that hasn’t been
done before?”

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley walked out with Wheeler Yuta
and Claudio Castagnoli. FTR ambushed The Death Riders from
behind!

“The odds have been evened,” said Excalibur.

Mox and Cope fought inside the ring with Cope booting Moxley
in the head. Marina Shafir slid the briefcase in the ring.
“The Bastard” PAC cracked Cope in the back of the head with
it. Moxley applied the bulldog choke on Cope. Powerhouse
Hobbs came down to the ring and the Death Riders retreated!

We heard from AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May!

Mariah: “Ladies, let’s make history by dancing for me—”

Harley Cameron: “Yes, excellent!”

Mariah: “Harley, we’re rolling.”

Harley: “Let’s give them an appetizer on Collision.”

Willow Nightingale vs. Kris Statlander vs. Toni Storm
The Winner Earns the Number One spot in the Women’s Casino
Gauntlet Match on next week’s Dynamite: Maximum Carnage!

Willow wiped out Toni with a shoulder tackle. Willow planted
Toni with a spinebuster.

Toni tried for a cross body press but Stat and Willow caught
her and sent her down hard with a fall away slam. Toni
shoved Stat into Willow. Willow pounced Statlander. Willow
whipped Toni into Kris and then smashed them both with a
cannonball. Willow drilled Toni with a Death Valley Driver
for a near fall!

Kris crushed Willow with a rolling lariat. Willow double
suplexed Toni and Kris! Toni cradled Willow but Kris broke
up the pin attempt. Statlander spiked Toni with Wednesday
Night Fever and pinned Toni Storm!

“This is huge for Kris Statlander!” said Daddy Magic.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviewed Toni Storm!

Toni: “I’m not surprised I didn’t win. Clearly, I’m just not
ready. It was an honor to be out there with Willow and Kris.
But for me, I’m just not ready. I’ll keep working hard but I
guess it can’t be Toni Time all the time.”

Up next: The Return of Kenny “The Cleaner” Omega!

Omega: “Thank you. It was a little over a year ago that I
checked myself into the hospital that I was given the bad
news about diverticulitis. For those that don’t know what
that is, well, it took two feet of my intestines from me and
if I didn’t get help when I did, the doctor told me, ‘Kenny,
you would have been dead.’

“So for the past year it’s been this roller coaster ride.
Upon a successful surgery I had two questions. How long
would recovery take and when is it that I can get back in a
ring? The doctor said I’d be lucky if I could return to a
normal way of life, let along return to the ring or be the
Kenny Omega that you used to be.

“So being a pro wrestler, you push things a little too hard.
I had to ask myself, can I even do it? I can’t lie, there
was a moment in time when I felt like giving up was maybe
the safest option. And once I considered that option, I
realized what purpose do I even have if I don’t have you
people with me? A few days ago I tested that theory, and I
found my purpose in Tokyo, Japan, just like I found my
purpose tonight. If I’m not in the ring giving you people
everything I have, then I’m just not living.

“Even though I might not be the same guy or do the same
things I used to be able to do, this new version of Kenny
Omega that isn’t concerned about money, power, or revenge,
this version can prove that he is—”

Don Callis interrupted Omega!

Callis: “Well look who’s back from the dead!”

Omega chased down Callis and grounded and pounded him!
Archer and Brian Cage ran out and double teamed Omega. Omega
tried to fight his way out of their grasp. Kyle Fletcher
came into the fray and cracked Omega with a right hand shot!
Cage punched Kenny in the abdomen!

Will Ospreay’s music hit and Ospreay ran down with a steel
chair. Ospreay leveled Archer with the chair and Cage and
Fletcher fled the ring! Ospreay and Omega had a stare down
in the center of the ring.

Excalibur announced that Tony Khan just made it official.
Next week it’ll be Kenny Omega against “The Machine” Brian
Cage on Dynamite: Maximum Carnage!
