AEW content, including PPVs, Dynamite, Collision and Rampage
are appearing on MAX internationally, particularly for
French viewers (or enterprising viewers from anywhere with a
VPN).

On Friday July 19, some international MAX users began to
notice that AEW shows and pay-per-views were appearing in
the library for the streaming service.

As of this writing, AEW content is not showing up on MAX for
users in the United States or Canada.

It seems obvious that Warner Brothers Discovery is not just
doing this for one country, no matter some of the gymnastics
some tried to use to explain it away.

The obvious conclusion is that an AEW-WBD deal has been
reached, or is so close it's a matter of signatures.
Otherwise there is no reason for such a step to have taken
place.

Remember my speculation on the site of this year's Forbidden
Door, suggesting a possibility that a small stadium show in
Texas or California (in one of the 25,000-30,000 seat MLS
stadiums) could happen, given the partnership with CMLL?

Well....last week, Fightful Select reported that AEW is
currently planning a major-scale event in Dallas/Arlington,
Texas, for next year. The reports also suggested that the
show could potentially be a stadium event said to be
"anticipated to be on par with AEW’s biggest show".

When speaking to ComicBook.com, AEW President and CEO Tony
Khan addressed the speculation, playing coy...saying that
though the idea was appealing, they would not be looking to
host such events "in the immediate future". The phrase
"immediate future", of course can mean anything, and
locations for 2024 PPVs have already been announced.

People, of course, speculated about AT&T Stadium. But how
about something in the Dallas/Arlington area that might be
more doable?

Choctaw Stadium (most recently Globe Life Park) was the home
of the MLB's Texas Rangers from 1994 through 2019 as The
Ballpark in Arlington. It's currently used as the home of
the Arlington Renegades of the XFL (now UFL). Major League
Rugby's Dallas Jackals, and North Texas SC of MLS Next Pro
(the farm team of MLS's FC Dallas).

It has a capacity of 48,114 while serving as a baseball
stadium, but most recently has been configured for 25,000
for XFL/UFL games. So there's room for all sorts of seating
set-ups. The Stadium has got great sight lines and a great
look for PPV.

After last week and talking about Christmas in
July...looking down the road to the season of giving, there
are already six indies and thirteen events announced,
beginning the process of helping their communities for the
Holidays and showing their love.

After this weekend, this world could use a little.

Speaking of doing as much good as we can...well-known East
coast wrestling photographer Christine Coons recently
suffered a major stroke; and Tanya Christine Coons has
organized a GoFundMe for her. Here are the particulars:

"Christine Coons is going through it right now! She has
suffered a stroke. She has very limited movement from her
right side. She is currently in the hospital awaiting news
of where she will go for rehabilitation for the stroke. On
top of the stroke, her heart issues have also come back. So
she is fighting the fight. Frustrated but day by day she's
fighting.

She will be in the hospital/rehabilitation for some time. No
one is sure when she will be able to go back to work. And
she already has hospital bills piling up. Anything anyone
can donate is appreciated. Just reading this is
appreciated!!

Please continue to share and donate. We have to do a lot of
repairs and updates at Christine's house in order for her to
go back home and continue to get better. Every dollar
counts. We will continue to update her process.
