Welterweight
After their first fights, Don Madge (11-4-1) and Murad Ramazanov (12-0) find themselves atop the standings with 6 points from first-round finishes. Yet neither are on the main card Friday. Madge takes on Neiman Gracie (12-5) on the prelims. Gracie needs a finish to have a shot at the playoffs. And Ramazanov takes on Shamil Musaev (17-0-1), who is in a good spot himself with 5 points from second-round finish.
Logan Storley (15-3) lost his first PFL fight and needs a finish to have a playoff shot. He’s in the co-main event against Laureano Staropoli (13-6), who missed weight for his opening fight and lost, so has -1 point. Magomed Umalatov (15-0) has 3 points ahead of his fight against Brennan Ward (17-8). And Goiti Yamauchi (20-6) will try to qualify for the playoffs with a win over former Bellator champ Andrey Koreshkov (27-5), who was upset in the opening round.
Featherweight
Standings leader Brendan Loughnane (28-5) and his 6 points will continue their path toward a second $1 million title against Justin Gonzales (14-4), who lost his opener, in the main event. He’s tied with Gabriel Braga (13-1), who takes on Bubba Jenkins (21-8), who lost his first fight.
At lightweight, the PFL will crown a new winner in 2024 after 2023 winner Olivier Aubin-Mercier retired. 2023 runner-up Clay Collard (25-12) got out to a good start with a second-round finish against ex-Bellator champ Patricky Freire. His 5 points is tied for the lead going into his headliner with Mads Burnell (18-6). Also with 5 points, Michael Dufort (13-4) takes on Adam Piccolotti (14-6), and former Bellator champion Brent Primus (13-3), who meets Solomon Renfro (11-5).
In addition, Timur Khizriev (15-0) takes on Enrique Barzola (20-8-2), Kai Kamaka (13-5-1) meets Pedro Carvalho (13-9) and Tyler Diamond (13-3) fights Brett Johns (20-4).
