On Saturday, Jenkins squared off with Gabriel Santos on the prelims of UFC 312. In the opening round, Jenkins had a lot of success, even dropping Santos with a kick, but the Brazilian later took control of the bout and ended up finishing Jenkins with a rear-naked choke in the third round.
