Tallison Teixeira couldn’t have asked for a better UFC.

The Brazilian heavyweight, the tallest man on the roster today, walked through Justin Tafa in quick fashion on the main card portion of UFC 312 in Sydney, dismantling the New Zealander in just 13 seconds.

Awarded an extra $50,000 in bonus for his finish, “Xicao” did the traditional shoey celebration to cap off a perfect weekend in Australia.

Teixeira improved to 8-0 as a professional fighter with the victory, the seventh knockout of his career. The 35-second finish came after Teixeira landed a brutal elbow in the clinch, immediately dropping Tafa. An extra knee forced the referee to call the action.

A recent Contender Series signing, Teixeira has never went the distance in MMA, finishing all of his eight opponents in under five minutes. Three of those wins came inside the opening minute.
