Michel Pereira vs. Anthony Hernandez is no longer taking place at UFC 306.

The middleweight bout was pulled from the Sphere card to serve as the main event for a UFC Fight Night card on Oct. 19, multiple people with knowledge of the change told MMA Fighting.

UFC has yet to officially announce a location for the Oct. 19 event, but it’s expected to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Pereira (31-11, 1 NC) enters the bout riding an eight-fight winning streak, capped off by a trio of first-round finishes over Andre Petroski, Michal Oleksiejczuk, and Ihor Potieria since moving up to 185 pounds.

Hernandez (12-2, 1 NC) won his past five UFC bouts, including a shocking second-round submission of jiu-jitsu legend Rodolfo Vieira. “Fluffy” has also finished his past three opponents, stopping Marc-Andre Barriault, Edmen Shahbazyan, and Roman Kopylov.
