Don’t step on Mike Tyson’s foot.

The former heavyweight champion says that was the reason he smacked Jake Paul in the face after their staredown at Paul vs. Tyson ceremonial weigh-ins on Thursday evening in Arlington, Texas.

“I was in my socks and he had on shoes,” Tyson told The New York Post after the incident. “He stepped on my toe because he is a f–king a–hole. I wanted to think it happened by accident. But now I think it may have happened on purpose.

“I was in a lot of pain. I had to reciprocate.”

The slap almost caused a massive brawl before security stepped in to stop a possible brawl from breaking out.

Tyson will face Paul in the main event on Netflix on Friday night.
