Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2 official scorecard

A back-and-forth fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury in their rematch didn’t play out that way on the scorecards.

When the 12-round fight was over, Usyk delivered a more emphatic win than in their first matchup this past may, with all three judges scoring the fight in his favor 116-112 across the board.

Take a look at the official scorecard below:

While the judges disagreed on some of the early rounds, which were closer, the latter part of the fight heavily favored Usyk. That’s when the defending champion began to take over with higher volume and better accuracy, while Fury seemed to slow down as the extra weight he carried into the fight may have backfired on him.

From rounds 6 through 12, two judges, Gerardo Martinez and Ignacio Robles, gave Fury a single round during that time while Patrick Morley gave every single round to Usyk on his scorecard. In the end, Martinez gave Fury the final round and Robles gave him the ninth but that was not nearly enough to overcome Usyk’s dominance in the second half of the fight.

With the win, Usyk solidified his claim as the best heavyweight in the sport while now holding a pair of victories over Fury, who has suffered back-to-back losses after starting his career with an undefeated run through 35 fights.
