The UFC is heading back to Miami, and bringing a battle of featherweight veterans with them.

A matchup between Julian Erosa and Darren Elkins is set for UFC 314 on April 12 at Kaseya Center. Elkins revealed his participation on social media for the bout that was first revealed by Erosa’s coach Eric Nicksick in an interview with MMA Fighting prior to UFC 312.

Erosa enters the fight on a two-fight win streak and a pair of first-round submission victories over Ricardo Ramos and Christian Rodriguez. Since returning to the UFC for another stint in June 2020, “Juicy J” is 7-3 with five stoppage victories.

Elkins is set to make his 30th octagon appearance as he’s also riding a two-fight win streak. The 40-year-old submitted TJ Brown in his only 2023 bout, and earned a decision victory against Daniel Pineda in his most recent contest at UFC Vegas 99 in October.

As of now, UFC 314 does not have an announced main event.
