Viktoriia Dudakova admits emotions ran high after she was stopped at UFC Vegas 101.
Dudakova faced Fatima Kline in a strawweight preliminary bout this past Saturday at the UFC APEX where she suffered a second-round TKO loss. After the bout, Dudakova slapped and pushed away one of her coaches — who happens to be her husband.
On Tuesday night, Dudakova released a statement on Instagram apologizing for the incident.

“The emotions have calmed down a bit,” Dudakova wrote. “First of all, I would like to apologize to my husband and coach. I was upset that at such a difficult moment, he turned away from me and did not want to go into the cage. This is not an excuse and I am not looking for an excuse for myself. I did the wrong thing, I could not control my emotions. I set a bad example for athletes and the younger generation. I also want to apologize to sports fans. Thank you to everyone who stays with me in such a difficult situation”
After winning the first eight fights of her pro career — including her contract earning victory on Dana White’s Contender Series, and getting her hand raised in her first two octagon outings — Dudakova has dropped two straight. The 25-year-old dropped a close split decision to Sam Hughes at UFC Abu Dhabi in August.
