SYDNEY — Sean Strickland let a fan trade shots with him at UFC 312 open workouts on Wednesday, and he made sure to give as good as he got.
During a playful spar, Strickland caught his impromptu training partner with a punch to the body that forced him to take a knee. Though the fan appeared to be stunned by the body shot, he was all smiles and continued the brief spar.
Watch the exchange above.
To the fan’s credit, he landed few good shots on Strickland, who also appeared to enjoy the unserious scrap.

This is actually the second time this particular fan has shared the stage with Strickland as the two also sparred ahead of his title-winning performance against Israel Adesanya at UFC 293.
Strickland gears up for another rematch this Saturday when he once again faces middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis in the main event of UFC 312 at Qudos Bank Arena.
