Lyra Valkyria became the inaugural WWE Women’s
Intercontinental champion last night on Monday Night Raw
after she defeated Dakota Kai in the final match of the
tournament.

Valkyria, who went through Zelina Vega and Ivy Nile in the
first round and Iyo Sky in the semi final, won the match
after she hit her nightwing finishing move for the pinfall.

The Irish former NXT champion was then met by Raw General
Manager Adam Pearce in the ring who wrapped the brand new
Women’s Intercontinental title around her waist. Pyro then
went off to cap off a beautiful moment for the 28-year-old.

Her opponent, Dakota Kai, wrote on X that her journey is not
over.

“It may not have been my night.. but if anything, my journey
proves this isn’t over. With my whole heart, thank you ily
forever,” she wrote.
