“My coach always told me, ‘You are a martial artist. You have all the skills. You know everything. You just have to calm your emotions. I think that will make you win all your fights. But you are a complete fighter, and you have to take that with you.’ And that’s what I did. I feel that I can beat everybody right now.”

“I came here to the UFC to be the best. I know that I could be the best. That loss (to Denise Gomes) made me see I have a lot of things to learn. I feel like it’s a new adjustment and I just want to thank my teammates. It’s teamwork. This is for Mexico.”

“I want to fight when I feel recovered. I want to fight probably not a ranked opponent. I’m not in a hurry, so I can fight with other girls at my level and then try to focus on the elite of the division. But I want to fight again as soon as possible. I feel great.”
