Alex Pereira travels the world rolling on expensive supercars and celebrating life as UFC champion, but the MMA superstar doesn’t forget his roots.
“Poatan”, who recently returned from a trip to Korea, shows how much his life has changed since joining the UFC and quickly climbing to the top of two divisions.
Days after posting a picture of a gold UFC bracelet and hundreds of dollars in a yellow Ferrari, adding that “I remember when my sons were on their last pair of diapers and I didn’t have money to buy new ones,” he celebrated buying his parents a new home.
Now living in Danbury, Conn., Pereira posted two photos with a heartwarming before and after, from a humble home in the Sao Bernardo do Campo area to an incredible mansion.

A former two-division champion in kickboxing and now under the UFC banner, Pereira (12-5) had an incredible year in 2024 with three title defenses at 205-pounds, a trio of knockouts over Jamahal Hill, Jiri Prochazka and Khalil Rountree Jr. The Brazilian talent is expected to face Magomed Ankalaev in 2025.
