PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE’s lead production
designer, Jason Robinson, has departed the company.
Robinson was the brains behind most of the sets that you see
on WWE television, including the grand sets at WrestleMania
and also the Thunderdome during the COVID-19 pandemic. He
worked for the company for over 23 years and was considered
one of the main men when it comes to WWE production. In
2015, WWE.COM did an interview with Robinson, naming him as
“The Grandest Set Designer of Them All.”
Robinson was not the only longtime employee who left the
company this week. Michelle Carlucci, WWE’s Director of
Production Travel, left WWE after a nearly 37-year career
with the Stamford-based company. She started working in 1998
and was promoted to Director of Freelance Crewing, Travel,
and Special Projects in 2005 before moving to her latest
position in 2019.
There are no details as to why they have decided to part
ways.
